Water-based exercises are excellent for patients who cannot tolerate full weight-bearing or have multiple body part involvement. In the warm and buoyant environment, we can more easily address weakness, imbalance, swelling, joint stiffness and pain. Aquatic therapy is an excellent avenue for sports related performance enhancement or return to competition from an injury.
