Adapting to a Rapidly Changing World - Maxine Turck

Q: How has NCPT adapted with today's rapidly changing healthcare environment?

A: Since the beginning of the government shutdowns, there has been a lot of change here at NCPT.

By working closely with the owners to keep up with the latest changes, we adapted to the rapidly changing landscape daily. We follow the official updates each day, and with the help of our billing department, we are discovering all the options we can offer our patients. Our dedicated office staff worked hard to continue updating patients on the visit types their insurance would allow and scheduling within our county's guidelines. The most difficult part was having to temporarily reduce our staff to keep our clinic running until the situation stabilized.

Our therapists were trained to meet the new operations standards and had to adapt their schedules as fast as the information was coming in. We all have worked hard to ensure operations were running smoothly, with our main concern towards keeping our patients and staff safe from COVID-19.

During this time, we were able to create new and exciting programs to offer to our patients and our therapists are continuing to complete new courses to further their training and education. Our clinic has grown through this challenge in large part to the dedication from our valued customers and employees. We are now able to bring all the staff back together and resume our normal patient care, and the staff are extremely excited to serve our community once more.
